In the days leading up to the Royals' home opener against LAFC on February 25th, the organization has one goal: reach as many Las Vegas sports fans as possible.

The Raiders will be out of season, but the Golden Knights have a home game on February 23rd against the Calgary Flames. The Royals will be partnering with the Knights to host “Royals Night” during that game. All of the Royals stars will be in attendance, including Gerard Pique and Mike Tyson, and there will be photo opportunities for Royals players and Knights players to exchange jerseys prior to the game. Additionally, there will be two pop-up tents selling LVR merchandise in the concourse. At these tents, fans can enter raffles for a chance to win items from the Royals adidas line of apparel recently released on the Royals website. This promotional night will generate awareness for the LVR season opener for fans in attendance and on social media.

The second promotional event to generate publicity is the LV Royals Invitational, a youth soccer tournament held the weekend prior to the season opener. Youth club soccer teams from ages 8-16 will participate in the tournament beginning on Saturday, February 18th, with

the championship game for the U16 team being held inside Allegiant Stadium. All 18 (9 age groups, boys and girls) winning teams will receive a promotional t-shirt and coupons for 20% off from the team store.
